From Grandma’s Country Kitchen — Chocolate Pixies

Here is one of my favorite Christmas cookie recipe

CHOCOLATE PIXIES

Sift together:

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

Melt:

1/4 cup butter

2/3 cup cocoa

Remove from heat and cool slightly.

Blend in:

2 cups sugar

4 eggs, one at a time

Beat one minute and add 1/2 cup walnuts (optional) and dry ingredients. Mix well. Freeze several hours or overnight. Shape into balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 18-20 minutes.
